What is the Rockland Rally?

The Rockland Rally is the small business component of the county’s “Rock Solid” marketing campaign.  It is an effort to promote and celebrate the small businesses that comprise the fabric of Rockland’s economy and provide for the everyday needs of our residents.

Why should businesses join the Rockland Rally?

Rockland Rally businesses will be included in a countywide marketing effort, provided at no cost to the business.  The campaign will promote participating businesses under the “Rock Solid” brand and will drive traffic to brick-and-mortar locations through gamification.

Participating businesses will receive:

• “Concierge” technical assistance from our economic development team
• Access to workshops, webinars, and other educational programming hosted by the County and our partners, including Women’s Enterprise Development Center, the Lower Hudson Valley Small Business Development Center, the Rockland Business Association, and the Rockland County Industrial Development Agency
• Opportunity to be featured in the Rockland Roundtable newsletter
• Opportunity to be featured as a “Success Story” on RocklandForwardNY.com, the county’s economic development website
• Opportunity to be featured in a 30 second reel to be shared on Rockland County Government social media channels
• Listing on RocklandForwardNY.com as a Rockland Rally participating business
• A Rockland Rally Toolkit

How does it work?

Your business will receive a Toolkit that will include items such as a window decal indicating that you are a “Rockland Rally” participating business, Rockland County stickers/badges, and templates for social media.

Consumers can also join the Rockland Rally by visiting brick-and-mortar locations of participating businesses to collect “badges” and by posting their visits on social media.
